Robin started in the Life, Disability and Health Insurance business as a captive agent with Bankers Life and Casualty Company in October 1982. He became a student of the business and quickly learned from his managers and other veteran agents achieving the distinguished award “Rookie of the Year” for the company. He expanded into the Property and Casualty Insurance field in 1986 working with reputable companies including Allstate and State Farm but predominantly with Prudential Insurance Company of America. Throughout these years he remained focused on learning, growing and becoming the best he could be.

He hired his first part-time employee, rented a small suite and ordered his first phone line in 1993.  Robin Lewis Insurance Organization, an independent insurance agency was officially launched in November 1995.

As a result of exceptional customer service, the business grew rapidly, particularly in the property insurance market. Business soon expanded into the Auto and Life Insurance markets and then in 2007 into Commercial Auto, Property, General Liability and Business Insurance.

His focus for the past few years has been on developing a staff of professionals who would share the same care and concern for our neighbors and the same desire to grow and become the best they can be. Today he proudly acknowledges the team as the best yet. Under the leadership of Robin, President, and Jim Ross, Controller, RLIO will accomplish the mission of motivating and equipping our neighbors to maximize the use of insurance, to secure their assets, enhance their peace of mind and accomplish their God-given dreams and goals.
